I am sorry I won't be there for Halloween this year, but the Halloween Parties will continue! Goto-sensei, Martin-sensei, Thomas-sensei, and Arina-sensei will be making sure that your children are going home with a sense of Halloween fun, a knowledge of the vocabulary of the holiday, and the candy that goes with it. Happy Halloween!

On April 30th, we made our second Tsunami Donation for a total of $593.00 Canadian (￥51,000) to the WorldVision Japan Quake and Tsunami Fund. That's a total of C$1466.00 (￥124,000) donated by the staff and students of eo英会話. Thank you again for your patronage, and let's do our part to keep helping those less fortunate than ourselves!

３月２９日、eo英会話の生徒のみなさん、花岡さん、辻村さん、およびスタッフの後藤より集められました義援金は、７３０００円になり、ワールビジョンの日本地震津波基金に寄付いたしました。皆様のご協力ありがとうございます。

After watching the devastation on the news recently, I decided that eo英会話 should do something to help some of the victims of the disaster. So, for the months of April and May, we will be donating 1000 yen for each student enrolled at eo英会話. As well, half of the first months tuition will be donated for any student who joins us as a new student in March or April. Our hearts go out to those have lost homes, families, and hopes.
私は、東日本地方の壊滅状態のニュースを見て、eo英会話からも何か支援したいと思い、eo英会話の生徒の４月、５月の月謝からお一人１０００円ずつを被災地へ寄付することに決めました。また、３月４月に新入会された生徒の月謝の半分を寄付します。（以上のことで生徒さんに余分に出費をお願いする意味ではありません）
今回の災害で、自宅、家族、希望を失っている方々に私たちの心が届き少しでも助けになることを願っています。

2011 is a year for celebrating the people who are close to us, and learning more about people in our neighborhoods, and around the world, that we know very little about. So, I look forward to a great year getting to know all students, new AND old, much better!
